All the Things

Welcome to the Ladies of the Lakes Quilters of Lakeland! We are so glad that you found us. If you are interested in all the benefits and activities of Ladies of the Lakes, you are in the right place. Membership in the guild offers many opportunities for you to learn new techniques, make new friends and brush up on the skills you already possess, or find a new passion. Here are some of the opportunities we have available.

  • Our biennial quilt show

    The next quilt show dates are January 23-24, 2026. There are many opportunities to volunteer and you can look forward to hearing about them in the coming meetings.

  • Bus trips

    We have at least one bus trip a year. Check the upcoming Events for information on any upcoming bus trips.

  • Day Retreats

    Currently we have day retreats that are held at the Fabric Warehouse.
    These retreats are held in the summer and fall.

  • Spring Retreat

    Our annual spring retreat is being held at Dayspring Conference Center. The dates for the retreat are May 4-8. For information on this retreat, contact Kimberly Boothe at kimberly@ladiesofthelakes.org. Please put SPRING RETREAT the subject line.

  • Saturday Classes

    Our Saturday classes are held at the Fabric Warehouse in Lakeland. Usually they are the second Saturday of the month. You can find information about the Saturday classes on the events tab, or by attending the monthly guild meetings.

  • Specialty Circles

    Do you have an interest in Featherweight Sewing machines or Hand Embroidery? or maybe you would like to bring your machine and join us for some social sewing.  At this time we have groups that are meeting.

  • Program Speakers and Classes

    You will find details on monthly programs and classes the events tab and calendar tab.

  • Meetings and social time

    We meet on the Third Thursday of the Month at First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth, Lakeland with 6:00 social time and 6:30 meeting.

  • Monthly Newsletter

    The newsletter will come directly to your inbox and also is posted on the website.

  • Yearly Challenge

    A yearly challenge with prizes in July This year’s challenge is listed on the website.

  • Annual Christmas Party

    We do not have a monthly December meeting. Instead, we have a party!

  • Facebook

    Find us on Facebook! Search Ladies of the Lakes Quilters of Lakeland, Inc. for news, information, events and all things quilty. This is a public page.   • Guild Merchandise

    Name Badges, polo shirts, tote bags and Tervis tumblers are available for purchase in the members only section of the website.
