Thank you for all that you do for this retreat. The activities, accommodations and the welcome gifts. It really is appreciated. I look forward to coming to Florida not only to visit Patty and the girls but also to be a part of this wonderful group and retreat!

At the last meeting I purchased the speaker's book, "Dresden Quilt Blocks Reimagined. I thought I had the grid at home so I didn't buy hers. Of course, I did not have the right one so I ordered it from Fabric Warehouse. Mel ordered several grids and also the book in case others in the guild did as I did. She asked me to see if any one in the guild would like to teach a class. Any one Interested? I have made several and it is a fun block in which you may use lots of scraps. SUZANNE SHERMAN

New year for Fat Quarters! This month's fat quarter drawing is Nursery fabrics. Bring in a fat quarter, and if your ticket is drawn, you go home with a fat quarter bundle. See Diane Bishop at the back table to turn in your fat quarter(s). Next month's fat quarter is: Potpourri-Anything goes

Second Saturday Class News!
|
Next Second Saturday class in June is with Treva Lawter. She will be teaching the mini diva wallet. The supply list is linked below and as always, can be found in the supply list section of the website. The Fabric Warehouse has the patterns in stock. They are behind the counter, so you will need to ask for them. Treva will also have some hardware. Fabric Warehouse has a few as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Louise's Charity Corner

Labels can be sewn onto the back of each quilt donated to the various organizations around town. These labels are available each guild meeting on one of the tables in the back of the room. BTW Aren't those thank you cards from Achievement Academy just the cutest thing ever? Thanks to all who helped with the bibs!
