Special Categories

Quilt Judge-Molly Waddell NQACJ

Molly’s goals as a teacher and as a quilt judge are to recognize the creativity and expertise of each quilt maker, to objectively and fairly evaluate quilts and wearable arts and to give constructive comments to quilters so that they may improve their workmanship and artistry, and to encourage them to stretch their creativity.

Molly also designs quilts and quilted wall hangings.  She self publishes her patterns under the name of Double Diamond designs.

In addition to local shows her quilts have been exhibited at Mid Atlantic Quilt Festivals, Quilt Odyssey in Hershey, PA, The Quilter’s Gathering in Nashua, NH, The Quilters Consortium of NYS shows, Syracuse, NY, and the Vermont Quilt Festival.

Molly enjoys all facets of quilting, whether it be applique by hand or machine, piecing, designing, quilting by hand or by machine and she enjoys employing various other techniques in her quilting.
